This documentation Centre is a small beginning at creating resources on issues of common concern to the peoples of South Asia. We will bring together such work on social sciences that has a bearing on contemporary concerns and which are important in terms of giving strength to the democratic aspirations and movements in our countries. A lot of these resources are necessarily drawn from different journals, little publications, pamphlets and speeches otherwise not easily available for use.

This effort is inspired by the long and rich legacy of academicians and intellectuals whose intellectual pursuits have had an activist stance and it is dedicated to them.

This documentation will also contain texts meant for popular education and learning. People accessing and browsing these are free to use them and let others know.
